Did you know you can completely transform your solos by adding just ONE extra note to the pentatonic scale?
Adding this note to the scale changes it from a Pentatonic to a Hexatonic, and the Hexatonic scale shapes can open up a whole new way of visualizing and mapping out the fretboard.
It’s so much more than just a scale, because hidden within these scale shapes is an entire system that can help you unlock the fretboard, so you can hit all the right notes, without having to think about them.
You can:
All within the Hexatonic scale shapes!
No complicated theory, no learning tons of scales, and the best part is you can use it anytime you want, over any chord and progression, because it works just like the pentatonic scale. But it sounds a lot more melodic and flavourful.
It’s such a powerful concept, and it’s not enough to just learn the scale shapes, which is why I decided to create:
A 3 level program designed to help you visualize the fretboard so you can map out and target the most melodic and tasteful notes available.
You’ll be able to play freely across the entire neck, eliminate the feeling of being ‘boxed in’, and prevent yourself from getting lost or stuck when improvising.
Using strategic play-along exercises and learning the lick and solo examples, this program is guaranteed to transform and expand your playing, just like it has for hundreds of my students.
And the best part is:
Once you learn the Hexatonic concept, you can use it over almost ANY chord progression, because the notes DON’T CLASH.
Other scale and fretboard visualization methods only work on certain chords and progressions. But the Hexatonic scale works with almost any chord or progression where you’d use a pentatonic scale, which means you can use it pretty much all the time.
Three levels, built to be taken in order. Tap a level, then open any module to see every lesson inside it.
Each level includes a final solo (with tabs, notation & backing tracks) that was built using ONLY the concepts, ideas and exercises from the masterclass.

For over a decade, I’ve helped thousands of guitarists improve their technique, understand the fretboard, and play with more confidence.
My guitar videos have reached millions of players around the world, my work has been featured in Guitar World Magazine and MusicRadar, and I’ve had the privilege of speaking at Berklee College of Music as part of their Global Connections series. I also create weekly guitar content for more than 2 million combined followers across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
The Hexatonic Scale Masterclass came from studying my own playing and realizing that so many of the melodic sequences, arpeggios, chromatic lines and modern fusion sounds I used could all be connected back to the same familiar pentatonic +1 shapes.
I turned that idea into a complete, step-by-step system designed to help you expand the pentatonic scale far beyond the basic box, without overwhelming you with complicated theory or dozens of unrelated shapes.
Since releasing the course, thousands of guitarists have used it to add more melody, colour and movement to their playing.
I’m excited to help you do the same.
This course is for beginner to intermediate players, but will also benefit advanced players looking for a new, fresh and interesting way to visualize the fretboard and expand their lines.
It’s for any player who wants to break out of the ‘pentatonic rut’ and develop more soulful, melodic, modern sounding licks.
If you know how to play the pentatonic scale, then you’ll be able to easily apply the concepts in this course.

Yes, these scale concepts and techniques will work on acoustic. However, some of the exercises go all the way up to the 20th fret, which would be quite difficult to play on an acoustic. In that case, you can just play the same shape an octave lower, at the 8th fret.
