I wouldn't recommend this course for complete beginners. If you can play basic chords, a few songs, and simple scales or solos, you'll do great with this course.
You don't need to be intermediate or advanced to benefit, but intermediate and advanced players will find this course eye-opening and transformative.
Can I download the files to watch offline?+

Will this course work for acoustic guitar, or is it just for electric?+
Everything taught in this course works on both electric and acoustic guitars. However, the exercises were designed for electric guitar.
Some high-fret exercises might be difficult on an acoustic guitar, especially without a cutaway. You can play these exercises an octave lower, but you won't be able to follow along with the video demonstrations note-for-note.
My suggestion: If you don't have an electric guitar, consider renting one for 2 weeks while you go through the course. Once you've understood and mastered the concepts, you can transfer everything you've learned to your acoustic guitar.
